Tariff Advice Applications
We can also apply for Tariff Advices for goods you are importing. This is an application to customs whereby Customs will give a ruling on what duty rate should apply to your goods. This is especially useful where a concessions may apply but it is not completely clear. It is a good way to ensure that there can be no implications in regard to incorrect concessions being applied to goods.
Tariff Concession Applications
Tariff Concessions can be applied for on goods where no suitable substitute is currently manufactured in Australia. These are complex, and usually cost up to $2000 for these applications. However, the financial return to a company can be very profitable.
